Luxury Rooms

The Oudtshoorn Guest House Luxury Rooms are tastefully decorated, all open onto cool verandas, from where guests can enjoy a spectacular view of the stunning Outeniqua and Swartberg mountain ranges that tower in the distance.

All Luxury rooms are equipped with the air-conditioning, fans, electric blankets, fridge, coffee & tea facilities and a hairdryer. Secure parking is available on-site.

Superior Rooms

Meticulous attention was given to even the smallest of details – from the ostrich cushion feathers, Persian carpets and soft lighting to the sandstone tiles in the quaint bathrooms. Enjoy the cosy inside fireplace and warm blankets in the winter.

Rooms offer free Wifi, safe, air-conditioning, coffee tea facilities, fridge, and hairdryer. Be sure to make a booking for either the superior garden view rooms OR superior mountain view rooms. These rooms all have large bedrooms with full en-suite bathrooms and some with open-air showers.

Superior Honeymoon Rooms

De Zeekoe’s honeymoon superior rooms all have large open plan bedrooms, King-sized bed, inside fireplace, lounge, full en-suite bathrooms and open-air showers. ? These rooms also offer guests majestic views of the mountains. Our honeymoon accommodation is equipped with the best luxuries.

Deluxe Rooms

The Oudtshoorn Bed and Breakfast Deluxe Rooms have a balcony and a spacious bathroom which includes a walk-in shower and complimentary bathroom amenities. Luxurious furniture. Sound proof rooms with view over the pool.

Stone Cottage

These private Oudtshoorn Cottages are only a short 5 min drive from the main house. These houses offer breath taking views of the mountains & abundant birdlife and 162 recorded bird species. This area is malaria free. Each cottage has been carefully incorporated into the surrounding Karoo field. The 3 cottages are equipped with a mini bar, safe, coffee & tea, inside fireplace, outside fireplace, showers only, heater/air-con, guest amenities, bath robe, slippers and private deck. Free Wi Fi.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It's in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful nowhere. Lovely well appointed rooms. Great views/ grounds. I love the swing on my deck and just listening to nature. Love also that they are trying to be sustainable/use local products. The buildings are lovely. Especially like the liquor that is in the room. Not sure what it is exactly but it's good!! Also book the Meerkats!

Theo was very helpful with his advice on the area and the Meerkat Experience we were doing at dawn the following day.  Unfortunately only stayed one night - would definitely stay again.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the best stay here we could wish for. Check-in was swift and super friendly. Rooms were immaculate! Cozy bedroom with the most comfortable bed and mosquito net, beautiful bathroom with full bath, shower and separate toilet. Stunner of a balcony! Pool is a bit chilly, but wonderful views all around and plenty of comfortable sunbeds. Dinner was lovely, again - super friendly staff and tasty courses. Meerkat tour nearby is on the property of the Zeekoe so you get a nice discount for booking the activity through them which is an absolute must - these guys are just too cute to miss.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Omdat wij op doorreis waren, hebben we maar één nacht doorgebracht bij De Zeekoe. We kregen een prachtige kamer met terras en uitzicht op de bergen, we hebben hiervan genoten.
Zowel het diner als ontbijt de volgende ochtend heeft uitstekend gesmaakt. Directie en personeel zijn heel vriendelijk en samen met de locatie heeft De Zeekoe een onuitwisbare indruk bij ons achter gelaten. Als we in de gelegenheid zijn, komen we graag terug voor een langer verblijf!
